Bella Merlin is Professor of Acting in the Department of Theatre and Dance, UC Davis. Acting work includes Margaret in RICHARD III at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, her one-woman play, Tilly No-Body: Catastrophes of Love (premiered at the Mondavi Centre for the Performing Arts), two seasons at the Royal National Theatre, London, and many years of theatre, television, film and radio across the UK. A singer-songwriter, her most recent EP is Scenes Through the Tenement Windows. She is the author of five books on acting and is currently writing Fighting the Fear: An Actor's Guide to Overcoming Stage Fright. |
