The seventh season of Curtis On Tour will feature brilliant pianist Di Wu (Curtis graduate ’05) performing side-by-side with a student wind quintet in a program to include Samuel Barber’s (’34) iconic wind quintet, Summer Music. Curtis On Tour continues to usher new works into the repertoire with the commission of a wind quintet by a Curtis graduate-to-be composed especially for this tour.

One of the world’s leading conservatories, the Curtis Institute of Music provides its 165 students with full-tuition scholarships and personalized attention from a celebrated faculty. The school’s distinctive “learn by doing” approach has produced an impressive number of notable artists since its founding in 1924. When they graduate, Curtis students become musical leaders, making a profound impact on music around the globe.
