Performances

Legendary pianist Vladimir Horowitz called the Liszt Transcriptions of Beethoven’s symphonies “the greatest works for the piano.”

During our 21–22 season, we were joined by Christopher Taylor, a groundbreaking musician “seemingly possessed of superhuman powers” (Los Angeles Times). Due to conflicts, Taylor could only perform the first five of the nine symphonies.

Join us as he tackles the final pieces of these demanding, illuminating works over a riveting two-part concert event.
