How to Access and Share Mobile Tickets

Mondavi Center mobile tickets offer you the convenience of using your smartphone as your event ticket, providing you access to the Mondavi Center with a unique QR code that can be scanned from your screen.

If you have mobile tickets for your event, please see these instructions before visiting the Mondavi Center.

How to Access Mobile Tickets

1. Visit wallet.mondaviarts.org

After purchasing tickets at mondaviarts.org, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to access your mobile tickets through the Mondavi Center Mobile Wallet at wallet.mondaviarts.org.This must be done only on a mobile phone or tablet.

When logging into your Mondavi Center Mobile Wallet, use the same Mondavi Center credentials that you use for your Mondavi Center account.

If you have forgotten your password, use the “Forgot Password?” link below the “Log In” button.

2. Select your event under the MY EVENTS tab.

3. Tap the event for more details. Your scannable QR code for admission will appear a few hours before your event.

4. When you arrive to the event, present your mobile ticket(s) within your Mondavi Center Mobile Wallet or Apple Wallet to be scanned.

Be sure to turn your mobile phone’s screen brightness up to the highest level and have your phone operating in light mode (not dark mode).

How to Share Mobile Tickets

Need to share a ticket(s) with a friend or group of friends?

1. Log in to wallet.mondaviarts.org and select your event.

2. Tap the “Share Tickets” icon

3. Follow the prompts to easily share your tickets via text or email.

Once the recipient clicks the link they receive, they’ll get a message to log in to their existing Mondavi Center Mobile Tickets account—or to create an account—and accept the tickets.

When the tickets are accepted, the recipient’s digital wallet will show the ticket(s). The recipient will also be able to return their ticket or to share it with anyone else.

Please note VIP packages are non-transferable and cannot be shared.

SHARING MOBILE TICKETS FAQs

Once a ticket is added to your Apple Wallet, can you share it with a friend?

Absolutely! To do so, you will need to return the ticket to your Mondavi Center Mobile Ticket Wallet, and then select SHARE TICKETS to complete the process.

What happens if my friend is running late?

You can share tickets from your Mondavi Center Mobile Wallet with a friend even after the event starts.

Log in, select the performance date, click SHARE TICKETS, and follow the prompts to share via text or email.


How to Accept Mobile Tickets

1. Click on the link shared with you by the ticket owner.

2. Click the button to LOGIN or REGISTER TO ACCEPT the digital tickets.

3. Log into your Mobile Wallet using your Mondavi Center Website Email or Username and Mondavi Center Website Email Password.

If you don’t have a Mondavi Center Website Account, click the REGISTER button.

Mobile tickets are securely delivered at a website linking your Mondavi Center Account directly to the digital tickets in your wallet.

Shared mobile tickets are not valid until you have claimed them and they have been moved to your secure digital ticket wallet online.

ACCEPTING MOBILE TICKETS FAQs

Will the person who gave me the ticket will know if I accept it?

After accepting, the sender will see that you accepted them.

I lost the e-mail/text for my transferred tickets. What should I do?

Ask the sender to click the SHARE THIS INVITE AGAIN button to generate a new link for you. If you still have trouble finding the link, ask the owner to send the link via a different format, such as by email rather than text.

I accepted the tickets but can’t find them.

Check if you have another Mondavi Center Account you might have used to accept the tickets or were using a device logged into another account. Confirm your Mondavi Center Account(s) by visiting here.

Can I share mobile tickets that someone shared with me?

In most cases, yes, once you accept the digital tickets, they’re yours. Can’t use them? You can return them to the sender or share them with anyone using the SHARE TICKETS button in your wallet.


General Mobile Ticket FAQs

What is mobile ticketing and is it more secure?

Mobile tickets allow for quick entry to the venue without waiting in lines to pick up your tickets at the ticket office. Mobile tickets can be retrieved easily at wallet.mondaviarts.org after your purchase. These tickets offer added security with dynamically changing QR codes, preventing theft and counterfeit tickets by allowing one scan per entry.

Do I have to download an app?

No apps are necessary to access your digital wallet. Open any web browser (ex. Safari, Chrome, Firefox) on your phone and visit wallet.mondaviarts.org to access your wallet.

Can I print my mobile tickets or take a screenshot?

No. To keep your tickets safe and secure, printouts and screenshots are not accepted and cannot be scanned at the door. Once activated, the QR code on your digital ticket(s) updates and can only be scanned directly from your mobile device. You will no longer receive any PDFs to print out.

My tickets don’t have a QR Code; what do I do?

As a safety measure, the QR codes will not be visible on your tickets until approximately 4 hours prior to your performance start time. Your QR code for your digital tickets will automatically appear in your digital wallet at that time.

My refreshing QR code disappeared after it was delivered. 

Refresh the webpage you are on, and the dynamic QR code will display again. Just a reminder, the QR codes will not be visible until approximately 4 hours prior to your performance start time.

Can I add my digital tickets to my Apple or Google wallet?

The Mondavi Center Mobile Wallet allows iPhone users to add their mobile tickets to their Apple Wallet as soon as the ticket is available at wallet.mondaviarts.org. Google Wallet is not yet available.

For Apple Wallet Users:

  • Log into your Mondavi Center Mobile Wallet, select your performance, and scroll down to “Add to Apple Wallet” and follow the prompts.

  • You will need to have notifications enabled on your Apple Wallet in order for digital tickets to work properly. Notification functionality is required for the QR code system to work.

  • You may need to hard refresh and/or force close the Apple Wallet app if you are experiencing problems. This can be done by swiping up on the app itself and relaunching.

  • Tickets may not say ‘Scanned!’ in the upper left corner of Apple Wallet like they do in wallet.mondaviarts.org. If you exit and then reenter the house, it may be difficult to determine which tickets have already been scanned and which haven’t.

What if I can’t access my mobile ticket or forgot my phone?  

Visit our ticket office when you arrive at the performance. We would be happy to print your traditional paper tickets for the ticket owner for the performance.

What if I don’t have a mobile phone and accidentally chose mobile tickets?

It’s no problem. Just let our Mondavi Center Ticket Office team know at tickets@ucdavis.edu

Will other presenters also be using this system?

If you selected to receive mobile tickets from the Mondavi Center Ticket Office, all mobile tickets regardless of who is presenting,will be delivered via the Mondavi Center Mobile Wallet.
